What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf cart dealership office administrator/assistant manager position at South Walton Carts?
South Walton Carts is a midsize full service LSV golf cart dealership. We have a 52 cart rental fleet. We sell new and used carts. We offer service, repairs, and customization. We are a midsize dealership with more of a family atmosphere. Because we are not large we do not hire the manager for each aspect of the business. So the manager that we are hiring for this position would need to be able to accomplish a little bit with each aspect of the services the company provides. Everything from being able to show a cart to a customer for sale to getting a rental agreement executed and added to the schedule.
The majority of the job would be in the office hand in the showroom. Part of the job would be walking the facilities and managing around the facility. We are looking for a fast-paced, energetic, and personable person to add to our great team. You must be able to communicate with customers via text message, email, phone call and in person. You must be somewhat tech savvy when it comes to operating systems, filling in spreadsheets, electronic signature gathering, inventory, invoicing, and note keeping. You would need to be organized and detailed. There would need to be experience in those areas even if it's not with another dealership.. You must be willing to manage people as well.
We're not looking to have to do a heavy amount of training. The person would have to be a fast learner and be able to do basic computer skills, customer service skills, and new generation office administration.
The pay is just the starting pay and can be adjusted as the person grows with the company. It's all based on productivity.
The job is Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30 minute paid lunch. 1 hour lunch is available but not paid. During the off-season week sometimes close at 4:00 p.m.
After you have been there 60 days we pay pto, health insurance, and paid holidays. Not looking for job hoppers. We're looking for somebody to come be in there long-term and grow.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
