Responsibilities:
- Respect the rights and dignity of residents at all times.
- Provide personal care and ensure all daily needs are met.
- Perform skin care procedures, including bathing, shaving, and prevention of pressure sores.
- Provide oral hygiene and assist residents with dressing appropriately for the season and occasion.
- Assist residents with nutritional and fluid needs, including helping them to and from dining areas.
- Safely transfer and assist residents with ambulation following facility procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Follow infection control and universal precaution procedures, including proper handwashing and linen handling.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in good standing with the New Mexico State Nurse Aide Registry.
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Background Check required
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands while maintaining professional courtesy.
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- Basic ability to read, write, and communicate in English for safety and documentation purposes.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Shifts: Day, Evening, or Night - Shift Differential for Evening & Overnights
Sign On Bonus Details:
$500 after 90 days of employment with no call-ins or scheduling issues
$500 after 180 days with supervisor evaluation
$500 after one year with supervisor evaluation
To receive the one-year payment, the employee must remain actively employed and be in good standing, with a satisfactory evaluation from their supervisor.
