What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Custodian position at SOUTH UMPQUA SD 19?
South Umpqua School District has an opening for a part-time evening custodian.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or educational and related work experience that the district considers appropriate for performing the assigned task. Two years’ prior experience in and knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment used in school housecleaning. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and follow written and oral directions. The ability to work harmoniously with staff and students is a necessity.
Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor. Physically able to perform essential job functions which include lifting 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and carrying on a regular basis.
Duties: Ability to perform various custodial duties. Sanitize restrooms, showers, locker rooms. Sweep/mop/wax/buff or vacuum floors. Dust, wash windows, empty trash, paint, and other duties as assigned.
Assignment is 5 hours per day / 5 days per week.
Salary Range: $18.64-$26.84 ( Depending on experience)
