What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classified Substitute- Food service position at SOUTH UMPQUA SD 19?
Duties: Assists in the food preparation, set-up, serving, and clean-up of a school kitchen, cafeteria, and other food service areas. Maintains the cleanliness of food service areas, utensils, and equipment.
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of foodservice and cooking equipment as well as custodial duties. Self motivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and follow written and oral directions. The ability to work harmoniously with staff and students is a necessity.
Good physical health and ability to perform manual labor. Physically able to perform essential job functions which include lifting 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and carrying on a regular basis.
Salary: $15.88 per hour
