Description: We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with doctors to provide high-quality musculoskeletal care, perform diagnostic evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and—when needed—serve as a first assist in surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
· Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
· Develop tailored treatment plans incorporating radiology, physical therapy, injections, medications, and bone health management
· Administer intramuscular, joint, and trigger point injections
· Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff, including MAs, radiology, and ultrasound techs
· Maintain an active patient caseload and ensure continuity of care
· Collaborate with doctors, medical assistants, schedulers, and administrative teams to coordinate services
Operative – First Assist
· Assist with patient positioning and sterile preparation
· Provide intraoperative retraction and exposure
· Manage instruments and maintain a sterile surgical field
· Perform wound closure and apply dressings
Qualifications:
Licensure & Certification:
· Active Texas medical license (NP or PA)
· Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
· Current CPR/BLS certification
Education & Experience:
· Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program (master’s preferred)
· Minimum 1 year of clinical experience—orthopaedics or musculoskeletal care strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes:
· Strong clinical decision-making skills, even under pressure
· Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education abilities
· Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
