POSITION SUMMARY
The Yard Hand is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our trucking and/or disposal yard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials
• Maintaining a clean and organized yard
• Performing basic maintenance on equipment
• Assisting with the preparation of equipment for transport
• Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of equipment
• Operating forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Assisting with inventory management
• Following all safety protocols and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
•Ability to pass a drug test and background check
