Endocrine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas. Great opportunity to join a growing endocrine practice! Patient schedule is very manageable and great team.
Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
- Adult patient care only
- General Endocrinology Practice with most patient visits focused on Diabetes & Metabolic disease and obesity management.
- Strong referral base in community
- See 16-18 patients a day
- Office hours are 8-5, Monday-Thursday with half days on Fridays
- No evenings, weekends
- Labs in office
- Strong training period -4 weeks of “shadowing” Physicians and NP and slowly moving to seeing patients with support
Requirements of the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
- Graduate of Masters level Program
- National Certification
- Texas State Medical or Nursing License to practice
- Proven interest in Endocrinology prior to school or during training
- Willingness to train and learn complicated protocols and pharmaceutics.
- Commitment to the area of Corpus Christi
- Spanish speaking is desired but not required.
