Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual loading of debris, trash, and bulky items using appropriate equipment such as front-end loaders.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the demolition, clean up, disposal process at designated facilities, ensuring environmentally responsible practices are followed.
Requirements
- No experience needed
- Steel-toes boots
- Interest in solid waste management or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge or the ability to learn mechanical systems related to garbage trucks, dump trucks, front-end loaders, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physically fit to handle demanding tasks.
- Understanding of municipal waste management processes and safety standards.
