What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced NP/PA – BHRT, Pellet Therapy & Integrative Family Medicine position at South Suburban Family Medicine - Denver's Diet Doctor?
Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate passionate about bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), men's and women's health, metabolic health, and functional/integrative medicine?
South Suburban Family Medicine – Denver's Diet Doctor is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join our established independent medical practice in Littleton, Colorado.
We offer a unique hybrid model combining traditional insurance-based Family Medicine with an established cash-based wellness/med-spa program focused on BHRT, hormone optimization, metabolic health, weight management, nutrition, and prevention.
BHRT experience is required, including experience performing hormone pellet insertions.
This is not a position where you will be asked to build a hormone program from scratch. You will step into an established and busy BHRT program currently performing approximately 40 pellet procedures per month, supported by an existing Family Medicine patient base and an established population seeking hormone optimization, metabolic health, and wellness care.
We offer scheduling flexibility, with approximately 24–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, negotiable depending on the candidate.
The Position
Our office brings conventional Family Medicine and integrative wellness care together under one roof. Our insurance-based Family Medicine side provides an established clinical foundation and patient base, while our cash-based wellness/med-spa side provides BHRT, hormone optimization, metabolic health, and other preventive and wellness services.
The NP/PA will have a significant role in our men's and women's health and wellness services, including:
- Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)
- Male and female hormone management
- Hormone pellet therapy
- Women's health, perimenopause, and menopause management
- Testosterone replacement therapy
- Metabolic health and weight management
- Nutrition and lifestyle medicine
- Functional and integrative medicine
- Preventive medicine
- Selected Family Medicine services
Our medical philosophy emphasizes nutrition, prevention, metabolic health, and individualized patient care. We have longstanding expertise in low-carbohydrate, ketogenic, and whole-food nutritional approaches.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced clinician who is comfortable evaluating and managing both male and female hormone patients and has a genuine interest in functional, integrative, and preventive medicine.
Qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate
- Active or eligible Colorado licensure
- Minimum 2 years of clinical NP/PA experience required
- Clinical experience with BHRT/HRT required
- Experience performing hormone pellet insertions required
- Experience managing both men's and women's hormone therapy
- Family Medicine or primary-care experience preferred
- Interest or experience in functional and integrative medicine
- Knowledge of metabolic health, weight management, and nutrition
- IFM, A4M, or similar functional/integrative medicine training is highly valued
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $60–$70 per hour, depending on experience, BHRT expertise, and qualifications.
We offer a strong, predictable hourly rate rather than requiring providers to depend on production-based compensation.
Benefits include:
- Paid time off
- Paid holidays
- Continuing medical education and professional development
- Professional licensing costs covered
Why Join Us?
South Suburban Family Medicine is an established independent medical practice, not a corporate medical system or start-up wellness clinic.
Our hybrid model offers something different: the clinical depth and established patient relationships of traditional Family Medicine combined with the flexibility and innovation of a cash-based wellness program.
You will join an established patient base and busy hormone program with physician collaboration, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to combine conventional medicine with metabolic, hormonal, and integrative care.
For an exceptional candidate interested in a long-term future with an independent medical office, there may also be opportunities for expanded leadership and professional growth.
Location
This is a Littleton, Colorado in-person position offering a flexible 24–40 hour workweek, Monday through Friday, depending on candidate preference. This is not a remote position.
We are primarily seeking candidates currently living in the Denver/Colorado Front Range area or candidates who already have definite plans to relocate to the Denver area.
