Responsibilities of the job include:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/ floor plans and markups.
- Install, repair, maintain and test electrical systems including Panel/Sub Panel upgrades and low voltage installations.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, threading and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems.
- Assist with wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, receptacles, switches, etc.
- Pre-wire and trim of electrical and lighting systems.
- Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.).
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- General maintenance & troubleshooting.
- Residential upgrades.
- Generator Installation.
- (4) 10 hours shifts Monday -Thursday and overtime as required
Required experience:
- 3 years of Residential and/or Commercial Wiring. Must have verifiable experience.
- Valid SC Driver's License and clean driving record
- Knowledge of current NEC codes and local codes
