• Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey.
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH.
• Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.

• Oversee and ensure staff adherence to standards of care, mental health practices, and hospital policies.
• Lead and contribute to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide essential supervision, leadership, and direction to nursing staff.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, formulate improvement plans, and implement necessary changes.
• Coordinate staffing schedules based on patient needs and maintain legal processes for patients.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and regulatory standards.
• Develop, update, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document patient information, and reassess changes in patient condition.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required and able to produce a valid Washington State RN license. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility and psychiatric nursing management.
• Additional Skill Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory standards.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Successful completion of crisis intervention training within 90 days of employment and before participating in restraining procedures.
  • Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Showcase your flexibility and creativity, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in the face of stressful situations.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $55.00 - $60.00 hourly  Shift Differentials . We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor!
