What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tattoo Artist position at South Side Tattoo, LLC?
We are seeking 1 full time and 1 part time artist for a well established and busy location in Howell, NJ. Compensation is 65% commission for the first $3k per week, and 80% commission for subsequent revenue. This is a W-2 position, including professional liability, disability, unemployment, workers compensation insurance, flexible hours, and all state and federal taxes withheld (no 1099 tax bill at the end of the year). Minimum wage safety net for client cancellations is provided (inquire). All supplies are provided, with the exception of machines, needles, inks, and/or specialty items you may prefer. An established client base is preferred, but not required. 3 years of shop experience and a strong portfolio is a must! Must be able to comply with Body Art Ordinance NJAC 8:27, which governs body art in NJ.
