The Stars’ agency substitute van driver is responsible for the safe transportation of Stars children and youth, on a casual as-needed basis. Transportation is provided to and from homes to Stars’ programs via Stars vehicles.

The Stars’ agency substitute van driver is responsible for the safe transportation of Stars children and youth, on a casual as-needed basis. Transportation is provided to and from homes to Stars’ programs via Stars vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport children and youth to pre-designated drop-off.
- Maintain 7D license and annual vehicle inspections as directed by Center Director/site coordinator.
- Comply with all Massachusetts RMV and DEEC Regulations.
- Comply with all South Shore Stars confidentiality policies/procedures.
- This is an as-needed position, substituting for Stars’ regular drivers. As such, you would potentially be needed on short notice. The routes could be in the morning or afternoon in the Weymouth/Quincy area.
- The shifts are approximately two hours in the morning and/or 2 hours in the afternoon. If you have availability for either time slot, please apply.
- Complete and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
- Complete all required Early Education Care on-line training.
- Work with center director/site coordinator in maintaining vehicle attendance.
- Vehicle incident log-reporting daily to center director/site coordinator.
- Maintain current 7D Driver’s License.
- Complete Stars’ Transportation Agreement.
- Must have current 7D Driving License
- Must be deemed suitable by MA Department of Early Education Care Background Record Check process.
