What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printer position at South Shore Customs?
We are seeking a skilled Automatic Screen Print Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating an automatic press and be able to manage the full setup, operation, and breakdown of print runs. This is a hands-on role that requires experience with setting up and operating an automatic screen printing press.
This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate an automatic screen print press (up to 10 colors)
- Operate machinery with a safety-first mentality continuously
- Load/unload garments onto or off the press quickly and efficiently
- Follow work orders to ensure quality and accuracy of prints
- Troubleshoot minor issues during press operation
- Maintain and clean equipment and organized work space
South Shore Customs is equipped with new MHM Screen Printing equipment.
Qualifications
- 2-3 Years experience with Automatic T-Shirt Printing Equipment is REQUIRED
- Able to be flexible in altering positions due to workflow needs
- Ability to work in a team setting with good communication skills
- Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high output environment
- Willingness to work 9 am to 5 pm and overtime, as needed
