South Shore Early Education and Care is a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape Cod, and the Islands. South Shore Early Education and Care in our Wareham location seeks a full-time Teacher Assistant Preschool EEC candidate, 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. No nights or weekends, salary commensurate with licenses, degree, and experience, excellent employee benefits package, paid employee lunch break, and in-service training. Base pay rate $21.19/hr. with EEC certification, $21.31/hr. with CDA.

Develop and implement daily lessons & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Assist the Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physicalenvironment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development ofstudents. Perform assistant teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
