School Age Group Leader-Wareham-FT

South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands and Wareham. South Shore Early Education and Care in Wareham seeks a Group Leader, 37.50 hours per week; 52 weeks a year all benefits apply. Base hourly pay $20.82/hr. Salary commensurate with experience, degrees, and licenses.

Core Duties
School age population. Assist in coordinating all programmatic functions in collaboration with Site Manager in the classroom. Ability to accurately interpret and apply EEC regulations. Responsible for engagement, supervision, and care of children in the Before and/or After-School Programs.
Core Qualifications
MA EEC, LTPS certification license preferred, AA/AS degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field such as Child Care, Psychology, preferred, although not required. Minimum of High School degree, or GED/HISET accepted. At least 3 months’ experience working with children 5 years-12 years old. Knowledge of the comprehensive purpose and philosophy of the EEC program regulations. Experience & compassion working with children and families.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
