Sr. Group Leader-Wareham

South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands and Wareham. South Shore Early Education and Care in Wareham, new state-of-the-art Early Education facility opening; seeks a Sr. Group Leader, 25 hours per week, Before and After school group leader Split shift 7-9am / 2-5pm.
Full time during school vacation weeks and summer is a must 35 hrs. During school vacation weeks and summer- 52 weeks a year all benefits apply. Base hourly pay $20.82/hr. Salary commensurate with experience, degrees, and licenses.

Core Duties
Will require more coverage during school vacation weeks, early release days, and as needed. School age population. Assist to coordinate all programmatic functions in collaboration with Site Coordinator. Ability to accurately interpret and apply EEC regulations. Responsible for engagement, supervision, and care of children in the Before and/or After-School Programs.
Core Qualifications
MA EEC, LTPS certification license preferred Minimum of MA EEC teacher certification & a high school diploma with 6 months experience working with school age children or
BA or AA with 3 months of work experience with school-age children ages 5 years to 12 years of age. Knowledge of the comprehensive purpose and philosophy of the EEC program regulations. Experience & compassion working with children and families.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
- All candidates must undergo a background check where applicable;

- Candidate must be able to speak and understand English.
