Description

SUMMARY

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and administration of the Company’s risk management programs. This position will report to the Senior Risk Officer and work closely with business units, IT, second line risk management, Internal Audit, and external contacts.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assists with the maintenance of the Company’s Risk Management program at the direction of the Senior Risk Officer.
  • Assists in the identification, analysis, and prioritization of risks to support the company’s Enterprise Risk Assessments in coordination with the relevant business line leaders and evaluating their impact on the company.
  • Reviews and updates risk and control libraries and custom-tailored risk and control statements used in the company’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system.
  • Support the Senior Risk Officer’s review and challenge activities of the company’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.
  • Assists with the required enhancements needed for the Company’s GRC system.
  • Participates in maintaining the Company’s models and tools inventory and assists with tracking model performance monitoring and validation activities under senior oversight.
  • Assists with the tracking and reporting of open and completed corrective actions of self-identified issues and risk assessment findings.
  • Assists in the preparation and compilation of quarterly management reports for the Audit-Risk Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Participates in the coordination of new initiative risk assessments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Complete all internal Company training as assigned and required.
  • Adhere to the Company’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of bachelor’s business degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 0-2 years banking experience, financial services, risk management, audit, compliance, or related internships preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend fundamental banking risk management concepts (e.g., operational risk, credit risk, compliance risk, internal controls).

Skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables with support from the Sr Risk Officer.
  • Basic knowledge of the banking and financial services industry including federal laws and regulations
  • Willingness to gain new knowledge and technical skills.
  • Intermediate typing skills to meet the production needs of the position.
  • Intermediate math skills: the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.

PAY RANGE DISCLOSURE

The pay range for this position is $28.31 to $36.51 per hour and is the lowest to highest range Charlesbridge in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the posted range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
