Personal Driver - Local SCV Area

About:

South SCV Service CO-OP is a local startup cooperative network of service providers dedicated to servicing the needs of the South Santa Clarita Valley (South SCV) community which includes Stevenson Ranch, Old Orchard, Newhall, and Valencia.

The residents of South SCV face significant challenges due to a lack of local essential support services with no with real help or support. The Service CO-OP was started to gather service providers together to serve the community.

Overview:

The CO-OP is in immediate need of a local part or full time Personal Driver for providing reliable and safe transportation for local residents to destinations such as retail stores, restaurants, pharmacies, appointments, etc.

Duties:

· Provide safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for local residents

· Maintain a clean, odor-free, and well maintained vehicle

· Maintain all required licenses, insurances, and legal vehicle documents

· Follow all traffic, parking, and drop off laws and safety protocols

· Assist clients with loading and unloading bags, boxes, and items

· Communicate effectively and respond to clients about request details

· Work within a flexible schedule based on client needs and availability

· On-Call availability for urgent requests

Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns

· Defensive driving and safety awareness

· Dependable, punctual, and professional

· Good communication and courteous with clients

· GPS usage and route planning proficiency

· Comfortable driving in heavy traffic

· Can work independently and work direct with clients

· Can manage own schedule and schedule clients

· Can charge and collect payments from clients

· Can work together with a CO-OP Service Group

Requirements:

· Valid Registered Driver’s License

· Valid Registered Vehicle Insurance

· Clean Driving Record (no previous DUI or infractions)

· Able to Lift Shopping Bags, Boxes, and Light Luggage

· Able to accept digital payment platforms like Venmo

· Able to comfortably fit 3 or more passengers at a time

· Reliable vehicle in good condition, properly insured, and registered

· Close proximity to the South SCV Service Area

Additional Bonus:

· Fluent in Spanish

· Fluent in Tagalog

· Uber/Lyft Experience

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
