We are a small practice with a big heart! South River Vet is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our fast paced independently owned and operated small animal exclusive veterinary hospital. 3 is the magic number and having 3 DVM's on staff allows for time with family, vacations, and a work life balance while maintaining the family practice mentality that is the heart and soul of veterinary medicine and has become elusive and difficult to find. A wide variety of clinical and surgical case load will appeal to those with multiple interests. 2021 Best of the South Shore Winner. SRV is AAHA accredited since 2024. Experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply. Hours and schedule are flexible.

Basic Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to animals, including diagnosis and treatment of various conditions as well as medical record keeping..
- Perform routine and sick examinations and determine a treatment plan while ensuring proper animal handling and restraint.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine to enhance patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
