South Putnam Community Schools is hiring a first-shift custodian for Fillmore Elementary. This position's shift is during the day from 6:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Custodians must be able to perform a complete range of housekeeping duties and work within a team environment.
Applicants must be able to maintain positive, helpful and appropriate interactions with staff, students and the public.They must also be able to bend, reach, walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time, lift 50 lbs. due to moving heavy objects at times, such as furniture or equipment, take precautions when utilizing cleaning substances, tools, and other substances, work outdoors when required such as clearing snow from sidewalks, and operate power equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.
