Position Summary
This position is designed for a hospitality professional who combines exceptional member service, clubhouse operations, facility oversight, and business development. The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader who understands the private club lifestyle, builds strong relationships with members, conducts daily property walkthroughs, coordinates facility needs with the Director of Engineering, Food & Beverage Director and actively supports membership growth and event sales.
Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as the daily ambassador for an outstanding member and guest experience.
• Conduct daily clubhouse, beach, pool, fitness, locker room, and grounds walkthroughs.
• Prepare daily maintenance and repair lists and coordinate priorities with the Director of Engineering.
• Follow up to ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are completed promptly.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and presentation of all member areas.
• Build relationships with members, guests, and prospective members through a visible and engaging presence.
• Assist with membership recruitment, club tours, networking, and community outreach.
• Support catering, weddings, corporate events, and member functions by generating leads and maintaining relationships.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Recruit, coach, and motivate clubhouse staff while promoting accountability and hospitality.
• Resolve member concerns professionally and proactively.
• Represent the Club with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a private club, country club, luxury hotel, or resort.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with membership growth, hospitality sales, or business development preferred.
• Ability to work closely with engineering, housekeeping, Executive Chef and operations teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and special events as required.
