Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Cuisine at South Ponte Vedra Ocean Club, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The Chef De Cuisine will oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and fostering creativity in the kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality dishes, leading a culinary team, managing food costs, ensuring proper food safety protocols, and collaborating with management to maintain and enhance our esteemed dining experiences. The Chef De Cuisine will also mentor kitchen staff to uphold excellence in service and presentation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Culinary Arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and diverse cuisine techniques
- Strong leadership, team management, and staff training skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and best practices in hygiene
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, including inventory control, budgeting, and cost management
- Creative ability to innovate and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience required
