Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, organized, and clean. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-energy settings and are eager to learn about the beverage service industry.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Support the setup and breakdown of bar stations for events and busy nights.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with on floor bussing of tables and wiping down tables
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Assist in closing tasks (i.e. mopping, trash, etc.)
Requirements
- Previous experience in a nightclub or bar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash handling and operating a POS system is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business schedule.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods during shifts.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
- Must be 18-years or older
