South Plains Community Action has two full-time positions available for a Weatherization Assessor/QCI. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of low-income homes to determine the number and type of weatherization measures eligible for installation. Assessor will acquire knowledge in conducting heating & cooling appliance diagnostic tests, including blower-door testing, pressure-pan measurements, and testing of all gas appliances for carbon monoxide emissions and operate computer generated energy audit software. High School Diploma or GED required. Bilingual preferred. Must be willing to adhere to extensive training to obtain required certifications. Proficiency within Microsoft applications.
