What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Therapist position at South Pine Counseling, LLC?
Provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate mental health care to school-age children and adolescents in an outpatient therapy office and via Telehealth. The Child Therapist will use play therapy, individual counseling, and family counseling to address anxiety, behavioral challenges, and family or relationship concerns, with support through group and individual clinical supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide play therapy to school-age children and adolescents.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions.
- Provide family counseling to address relationship concerns and support healthy family dynamics.
- Address anxiety and depression through developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Support clients experiencing behavioral challenges.
- Participate in group supervision and individual clinical supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in child therapy.
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
- Experience with child-centered therapy.
- Experience with play therapy.
Salary : $80 - $145
