In 1993, owner Tim Demopoulos opened his first of several area restaurants: South Philly Hoagies. Growing up in Philadelphia, Tim's mission was to bring the authentic Philly taste to Harrisburg. To this day, we are still slinging the area's best cheesesteaks under Tim's watchful eye.
We couldn't produce the best hoagies in Harrisburg without our incredible staff. Our goal is to cultivate a positive, professional, supportive work environment. We also provide competitive compensation and great benefits to ensure our employees have what they need to thrive.

Preferred candidates have experience making hoagies or sandwiches and working on a griddle.
We're looking for someone dependable, energetic, and team-oriented who thrives in a fast-moving kitchen.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS OUR HOAGIE MAKER?
In this cooking role, you are at the heart of the operation; crafting hoagies and cheesesteaks with speed, consistency, and care. You'll read tickets carefully, move confidently between prep and the griddle, and ensure every order is made correctly and delivered promptly. As you keep pace with a steady flow of orders, you'll bag each one accurately, ensuring every customer gets exactly what they ordered. Throughout your shift, you'll work closely with your team, maintaining strong communication and keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
We offer flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time opportunities. Shifts are available in 8-hour and 12-hour blocks, and we operate seven days a week, giving you flexibility to find a schedule that fits your life.
