How You Will Contribute
The Make-Ready Technician is responsible for ensuring vacant units meet the established quality standards for re-leasing by performing technical and mechanical work that ensures the timely turn of all vacant apartment homes to market-ready conditions that meet the Company’s standards for occupancy.

How You Will Contribute
The Make-Ready Technician is responsible for ensuring vacant units meet the established quality standards for re-leasing by performing technical and mechanical work that ensures the timely turn of all vacant apartment homes to market-ready conditions that meet the Company’s standards for occupancy.
Things You Will Do
- Inspect vacant apartments and complete the make-ready checklist according to company specifications
- Inform Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager of needed services and repairs
- Routinely perform the following duties to restore the apartment to “market-ready” status
- Lend assistance during “trash-out,” move heavy/bulky items to the dumpster
- Assist in keeping the grounds clean
- Assist with maintenance when requested
- Assist leasing as needed by delivering notices for resident events, etc.
- Preparation and clean-up in resident events
- The report supply needs to Maintenance Supervisor or the Community Manager
- Think safety first and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors, and team members while presenting a positive, professional image
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work a flexible workweek, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours
- Must be able to walk the property, which includes climbing stairs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, and carry supplies
- Stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- General knowledge of all things pertaining to property maintenance
- Skill in the safe use and maintenance of power tools
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable of pertinent laws, including EPA and OSHA regulations
- Have a steady hand, good eyesight, and dexterity when using hand tools and machinery
