We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team at a busy Physical Therapy Office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and assist with medical billing processes
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow
- Handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and terminology
- Experience with ICD-10 coding and medical billing practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Knowledge of front desk operations and phone systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
