What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Assistant/Server position at South Mountain Memory Care?
We are adding to our South Mountain Memory Care team! South Mountain Memory Care is a 28-bed memory care community, providing 24 hour a day memory support.
We’re looking to add on a Part Time Dietary Server.
- Applicants must be available every other weekend and every other holiday.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for washing dishes, taking resident food orders, cleaning the dining room, preparing beverages, kitchen cleaning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Washes dishes, utensils and cookware following established procedures.
· During meal service take resident order and relay to cook
· Ensure resident receives exactly what they ordered
· Assist in cleaning the kitchen and dining room
· Provide a welcoming and friendly dining experience
· Ensure that the kitchen is closed and prepared for next day’s service at direction of Dining Service Director or Cook
· Assist the cook in properly labeling, covering and storing unused food after each meal
· Assist the cook as requested in inventorying and stocking food products and supplies
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
