Automotive Detail Technician

South Mountain Auto Detailing is in the middle of something big. We’re a 6-year-old Chandler-based detailing company with 160 five-star Google reviews, a loyal and growing client base, and a team that takes real pride in the work. We’re expanding … launching a membership program, growing our fleet contracts, and building a brand that is an East Valley household name.

We’re not just hiring a detailer. We’re expanding our crew. And we want the right people in it from the beginning.

What you’ll be doing:

• Full interior and exterior detail work on residential and fleet vehicles
• Mobile service — we go to the client, so you’ll be on the road in the East Valley (company vehicle)
• Ceramic coating prep and application support
• Maintaining the quality standard our reviews were built on
• Representing the South Mountain brand every time you show up to a job

What this job actually looks like:

You’ll work alongside a team that knows what they’re doing and cares about doing it right. We have a shop in Chandler where the crew gathers, a crew space with snacks and games because we believe people should actually want to come to work, and a leadership team that is actively investing in making this a place worth being. We work some early mornings and late nights to serve our fleet clients… flexibility matters here.

This isn’t a job where you clock in, do the minimum, and go home. This is a job where you take pride in a car that looks like new when you’re done with it, where clients tip because they’re genuinely blown away, and where the work you do today is building something you’ll be proud to say you were part of.

• You take detail work seriously — you know the difference between done and done right (you do not have to have detail experience- we will train you thoroughly!)
• You show up on time, every time, without being managed
• You’re a team player who lifts the crew up, not one who drags it down
• You take pride in your work even when nobody’s watching
• You’re looking for more than a job — you want to grow with a company that’s going somewhere
• You’re comfortable with early mornings
• You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• You have exceptional communication and customer service skills. We pride ourselves on treating customers like family.

• $18/hour to start plus tips (on average our techs make 25-35$ an hour)
