Requirements / Qualifications

--Must possess CIF Coaching Certification(CIFCC) --Must possess Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC) or Teaching Credential through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing --Must posses Concussion in Sports certificate, Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate and Heat Illness Prevention Certificate --Must possess valid CPR and First Aid cards prior to the start of season --Must provide valid TB (tuberculosis) Verification FOR MORE INFORMATION ON REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND WEBSITE LINKS TO OBTAIN CERTIFICATES VISIT OUR DISTRICT WEBSITE: Click here

Under supervision of the Athletic Director and site principal, adheres to the Athletic Program Philosophy and Policies of the SMCJUHSD; works cooperatively with administration, staff, athletic department, students, parents, and community; communicates effectively with parents and athletes; adhere to the rules regarding eligibility, transportation, facilities, equipment, practices, games and behavior code. Desirable: Previous experience as a player at high school or college level; previous experience as a coach or volunteer assistant.
