What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at South Loop Endoscopy & Wellness Center?
A busy multi-physician, single-specialty Gastroenterology CON licensed surgical center is looking for a Part time RN to join our team.
Qualifications/Expectations, but not limited to:
· Being highly trained and experienced on starting the IV on all types of patients is a must.
RN will be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Updating patients charts and medical history.
· Starting IV.
· Closely Monitoring patients in the recovery room.
· Call in/E script all Medications ordered by the MD.
· Contact medical insurance companies to start Prior Authorization for medications and infusions ordered by the MD.
· Review all messages from MD and communicate with the patients accordingly.
· Answer Nurses phone line and address all patients concerns and Questions in timely manner.
· Discharge patients
. Assist and carryout the center's IDPH and Joint Commission policies.
Experience:
· Registered Nurse: GI experience or ICU surgical nurse preferred, but willing to train good candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
