Job Description
General Statement of Job:
Monitor students who, because of infractions, cannot remain in the regular classroom setting. Individual will report to principal.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assure the well being of students in classroom
- Monitor class work as assigned by teachers
- Provide necessary feedback to principals, teachers, guidance counselor, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of assigned students
Additional Job Functions:
- Crisis Intervention Team
- Positive Behavior Intervention Support Team (PBIS)
- Other duties as assigned by principal
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Two year degree or 48 semester hours
- Must have and maintain a valid North Carolina bus license
Minimum Qualifications or Standards Required To Perform Essential Job Functions:
Must possess some computer skills and have good communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
