Primary Functions:
Technology Support
- Provide first-level support for computers, printers, phones, scanners, and basic software troubleshooting.
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and basic security access.
- Use the internal ticketing system to document, track, and resolve support requests.
- Set up and deploy workstations, laptops, monitors, and peripheral devices.
- Escalate complex issues to IT or EMR support staff and/or leadership, as appropriate.
EMR Support (User Assistance & Navigation)
- Provide first-line support for EMR-related questions, access issues, and basic navigation.
- Assist staff in using EMR tools and features effectively, based on established workflows and training.
- Help identify recurring issues or support needs.
- Maintain awareness of EMR updates, user guidance, and help resources.
EMR & Technology Training Support
- Assist with new hire onboarding for EMR login, navigation, and basic system use
- Provide basic refresher support and help users understand correct procedures
- Help develop and maintain simple training materials, screenshots, tip sheets, and user guides
General Support & Flexibility
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support staff, technology needs, and organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- 2-year IT related associates degree or IT certificates required
- High school graduate or GED required
