Duties
- Conduct structured driving lessons tailored to individual learner needs, focusing on safety, traffic laws, and practical skills
- Assess students’ driving abilities through observation and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement
- Prepare learners for licensing tests by reviewing road rules, maneuvering techniques, and test procedures
- Maintain accurate records of each student’s progress, lesson plans, and assessments
- Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards
- Foster a supportive learning environment by demonstrating patience, encouragement, and clear communication
- Stay updated on the latest driving laws, safety protocols, and instructional techniques to enhance teaching effectiveness
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with students of varying skill levels
- Additional certifications in driver training are a plus
- Ability to pass required background screening
