Duties
- Conduct quick yet thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs
- Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections efficiently
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs with accuracy and safety
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics to pinpoint issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
- Support the team in vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer questions confidently
- Assist with light heavy lifting and ensure proper handling of vehicle components during service procedures
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on fast service environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on mechanic experience
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics, using diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and basic repairs
