Position Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Faculty
Campus/Location: State College, PA
Full/Part-time: Full-time, Academic Year (10 months), limited summer hours
Duties:
- Perform the role of instructor during scheduled class times, including but not limited to lesson preparation, lecture delivery, student assessment and advising.
- Participate in supervised scanning labs in Abd/OB/GYN/VASC sonography.
- Assist the ABD-extended and OB Track Coordinator with performing site visits and on-site competency assessments for the ABD-extended and OB sonography track. Participate in other functions such as Admissions, Job Placement, and Student Events.
Requirements:
- The candidate will be a credentialed Sonographer with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience in a dedicated sonography department, required.
- RDMS- ABD or OB credential required specialty. Additional RVT desired.
Education: Minimum of an associate’s degree required.
