Position Overview
The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a key role in delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care while supporting patient education and overall oral health.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Perform dental cleanings appropriate to each patient’s clinical needs
- Maintain dental instruments through proper sterilization, sharpening, and selection
- Obtain and process dental radiographs
- Assess oral health by examining gingival tissues, screening for oral cancer, and evaluating periodontal status
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, plaque control, and post-treatment care
- Document clinical findings, dental histories, and patient visits accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Working Environment
- Fully digital practice utilizing Open Dental software
- Advanced clinical technology, including cordless prophy angles, a newer Cavitron with updated inserts, Florida Probe voice-activated periodontal charting, and personal intraoral cameras
- 60-minute hygiene appointments and 90-minute SRP appointments
- Structured and distinctive new-patient experience

Compensation
- Base pay with commission opportunities and team-wide bonus structure
- Estimated earning potential: $35–$45 per hour
Requirements
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Active license to administer local anesthesia
