Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening supplies, and landscape materials to meet their specific needs.
- Provide expert advice on lawn care, horticulture practices, floral arrangements, and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and managing inventory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication skills and multilingual assistance when needed.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting to promote a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Passionate about gardening, horticulture, floral design, and outdoor landscaping.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems and cashiering is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising products.
