Key Responsibilities:
- Sample received loads: Take representative samples from each load of pecans received to assess the percentage of meat per pound.
- Inspect trailers: Carefully investigate each trailer for pests, cracks, or any foreign material that could affect the quality of the pecans.
- Tag product: Label each batch of pecans with the appropriate tags as it is weighed, ensuring accurate tracking and identification.
- Report issues: Notify management immediately if there are concerns with the sample, quality of the product, or condition of the trailers being unloaded.
- Maintain a clean workspace: Ensure that the work area remains organized and clean to promote a safe and efficient grading process.
