Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Handle escalated customer issues
- Handle water billing, payments, account updates, and notices
- Maintain accurate customer, financial, and compliance records
- Assist with regulatory reporting, audits, and documentation
- Coordinate with field staff regarding service requests and work orders
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and customer communications
- Assist with emergency notifications during service interruptions
- Creating payroll checks and reports weekly
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of office management or administrative experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge
- Use of Quickbooks accounting software
Preferred:
- Experience with utility billing or municipal offices
- Familiarity with regulated environments (or willingness to learn)
