We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Front of House Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
Position Summary
The Assistant Front of House Manager supports daily restaurant operations by assisting with staff leadership, guest service, scheduling, and floor management. This role works closely with ownership and management to maintain service standards, team culture, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise front-of-house staff during service
- Lead by example in hospitality and customer service
- Assist with hiring, training, and coaching team members
- Help create and manage employee schedules
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support inventory, ordering, and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is a plus
- Current food handler or MAST permit preferred (or ability to obtain)
