REQUIREMENTS
- EMT –State License/ NREMT Certification
- The ability to work long hours without lowering the quality of care they provide
- The ability to provide care in stressful situations
- Problem-solving skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Situational awareness
- Stress management skills, composure under pressure
- People and customer service oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to deal with conflict situations, disrupted, frustrated or angry individuals
- De-escalation of problematic situations
- Able to identify potential safety/ security situations
- Security Officer Class D Licensure
- Valid Driver’s License
- English/ Spanish or bilingual in English and Spanish, depending on post assignment
- Ability to use smart phone applications
- Able to be alert and observe surrounding environment
- Good Report writing skills
- Good moral character, clean background
- Responsible, reliable, punctual
