NOW HIRING – Full-Time Property Maintenance & Operations Assistant

I’m looking for a reliable, hardworking, long-term person to become a key part of my business.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
• For the first 2 months, most weeks will be close to full-time while we complete several renovation projects. After that, hours will vary based on workload. But usually around 15-20 hours a week.
• Opportunity to work up to 6 days per week in the first couple months.
• Paid through payroll (taxes, Social Security, Medicare, etc. are withheld)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Work Area

• Most work is between West Perrine and SW 8th Street near the Florida Turnpike.

Responsibilities

• Lawn maintenance at several properties
• Pool maintenance (2 pools per week)
• Purchasing pool chemicals and maintenance supplies
• General handyman work (painting, light plumbing, light electrical, drywall, cabinet repairs, leaks, doors, etc.)
• House renovations (painting, roofing, bathrooms, flooring, sanding, and general construction)
• Monthly rental property inspections, including changing A/C filters, cleaning A/C drain lines with Clorox, cleaning behind refrigerators and stoves, vacuuming, pest control, and reporting the condition of each unit
• Assisting with Airbnb management
• Running errands and helping manage rental properties
• Basic office work using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other computer programs

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• General handyman/construction experience
• Must have your own tools
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and a computer
• Reliable transportation
• Honest, dependable, organized, self-motivated, and willing to learn
