Role Description The Referral Responder is a full-time, on-site role based in Palm Beach, FL. This role is responsible for receiving, triaging, and documenting organ and tissue donation referrals from hospitals and other healthcare partners. Day-to-day tasks include verifying clinical and insurance information, reviewing medical terminology and patient histories, and coordinating necessary prior authorizations or follow-up steps as directed by organizational protocols. The Referral Responder communicates with healthcare professionals, internal clinical teams, and occasionally families to ensure accurate, timely information flow and support decision-making related to donation opportunities. The role also involves updating referral records in internal systems, following regulatory and organizational guidelines, and collaborating with colleagues to improve processes and service quality.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with hospital staff, internal teams, and families.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and experience with Prior Authorization processes in a clinical or insurance setting.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Insurance concepts related to healthcare coverage, benefits, and claims.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and record-keeping within electronic systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Previous experience in healthcare, call center, organ donation, or related clinical coordination roles is beneficial.
