The Family Services Coordinator 1 will provide compassionate and skilled support to families during the organ donation process. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating communication with families, offering guidance through decision-making, and coordinating donation services in alignment with policies and procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. The role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to ensure families receive the best possible care during challenging times.
- Experience in Social Work and Social Services to support and guide families in sensitive situations
- Background in Family Services and Case Management to help coordinate donation processes with empathy and efficiency
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with diverse families and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment in Miami, FL
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Experience in healthcare or organ donation services is a plus
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, or on-call shifts as needed
