What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist position at South Florida Doctors Group?
Medical Assistant: Internal Medicine Physician seeking full time experienced medical assistance. Minimum of two years medical assistant experience is required. Preferably in primary care or primary subspecialties. Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR system is required. Must be a team player, a self-starter, able to stay focused and on task with the schedule of the day. Must present a professional demeanor and have strong communication skills both in person and over the telephone. Medical experience will require ability to perform injections, EKG's, prepare exam rooms, phlebotomy and keep pace with the physician. Duties will also include answering the phones.
