Schedule: Weekdays 1:30pm–9:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am–5:00pm. 15–25 hours/week. Sundays and Mondays off.
Pay: $18/hr, part-time.
Location: 1940 Harrison Street, Suite 100, Hollywood, FL (in-person).
About South Florida Conservatory of Music
We're a busy local music school teaching kids and adults piano, violin, guitar, voice, drums, and more. Our front desk is the first thing every parent and student sees — it sets the tone for everything that happens here. We need someone warm, organized, and quick on their feet to be that person.
What You'll Do
- Greet parents, students, and visitors warmly when they walk in
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about lessons, schedules, and policies
- Schedule and reschedule lessons in our system (training provided)
- Maintain student records and enrollment information
- Coordinate with teachers to keep lesson schedules running smoothly
- Support recitals, events, and day-to-day office operations
- Keep the front desk organized, welcoming, and on top of things
What We're Looking For
Must have:
- Friendly, professional, and genuinely good with people (especially kids and parents)
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers — Google Workspace, email, basic scheduling tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to juggle multiple things at once
- Available for the schedule above (afternoons Saturdays)
Nice to have:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Background in music (any instrument)
- Previous front desk, customer service, or receptionist experience
- Familiarity with school management software (we use Opus1 — training provided)
