Admissions Advisor (Orlando-based)
We're looking for an all-star admissions advisor - and we will very competitively pay for a great candidate for this position.
We are South Florida Academy of Air Conditioning (SFAAC) — the largest technical school in Florida teaching HVAC, in business since 2010. We’re passionate about vocational careers and giving our students the tools to build fulfilling, high-earning careers. We’re investing heavily in growth, operations, marketing, and new prospecting cycles, and we’re now looking for a motivated Admissions Advisor to join our team and work for our Orlando and Tampa campuses.
The role is expected to be based on our campus in Orlando, with approximately 1-2 days per week at our Tampa campus for on-site visits. A hotel will be provided, and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
The Admissions Advisor is responsible for communicating with prospective students, conducting admissions interviews and campus tours, following up with leads, and helping applicants confidently enroll in one of our programs.
This role blends sales, communication, relationship-building, and student support. The ideal candidate is competitive, driven, energetic, highly organized, and naturally persuasive, with strong people skills and a passion for helping others succeed.
About SFAAC
- We are extremely hands on and we are a fast-paced, intensive program for people serious about getting a new skill and getting into the workforce fast
- We offer full-time courses (Monday–Friday) that run for 4 weeks.
- We also offer weekend courses (Saturday–Sunday) that run for 4 weekends.
- We offer a 16-week online program, with the final 4 weeks completed as in-person, on-campus practicum

Admissions & Enrollment
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment
- Conduct admissions interviews and campus tours
- Respond to inbound leads via phone, text, email, and CRM
- Follow up consistently with prospective students
- Use strong communication and sales skills to help applicants make informed decisions
- Handle objections confidently and professionally
- Help students understand program offerings, schedules, tuition, financing options, and career opportunities
- Maintain accurate admissions records and CRM notes
- Deliver an outstanding experience for prospective students and families
Sales & Enrollment
- Conduct admissions interviews and campus tours
- Respond to inbound leads via phone, text, email, and CRM
- Use strong sales and communication skills to guide prospective students through the decision-making process
- Handle objections confidently and professionally
- Follow up consistently to improve enrollment rates
- Help applicants understand program offerings, schedules, tuition, financing options, and career opportunities
Marketing & Outreach
- Assist with social media outreach and content ideas
- Participate in video content, student testimonials, and promotional campaigns
- Understand modern lead generation and online marketing strategies
- Work closely with the admissions and marketing team to improve lead quality and enrollment performance
Qualifications
- 3 years of admissions, enrollment, or recruiting experience
- Strong sales ability and confidence communicating with prospective students and families
- Leadership or management experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and charisma
- Highly competitive and relentlessly results-driven, high energy and enthusiastic, strong work ethic
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with CRM systems, reporting, and performance metrics
- Ability to motivate both students and team members
- Experience in vocational education, trade schools, or higher education is a plus
Work Location:
