Intermediate District 287 is looking for a School Social Worker long-term substitute for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year at South Education Center!
Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position Details:
Location: South Education Center in Richfield, MN
FTE: 1.0
Work Schedule: This is a temporary position expected first day of school through mid-December 2026.
Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $34.88 - $69.19 per hour (depending on experience and education)
This is a temporary position that is not eligible for all benefits

Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
- Experience with at risk students with behavioral, mental health, and/or chemical health needs.
- Advanced degree in Social Work (MSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) from an accredited college or university.
- Must be licensed in MN by the Board of Social Work.
- Current Tier 3 or Tier 4 license as a School Social Worker issued by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) or eligible to receive license.
